MOPS-Mother of preschoolers at BVCC

"Mothers of preschoolers" or "MOPS" is a wonderful group for moms with children that are in preschool. Come check it out! We meet this Thursday.

Mothering small children can be very challenging and isolating. It's a tough job and one that often comes with few breaks and little sleep. MOPS is a supportive, fun group of Moms. It is Christian based but extends to all Moms. Even if your not "religious" you might find that MOPS is just perfect for you. So come check it out! I have been attending this MOPS group since I was pregnant with my oldest daughter, 5 years. Its has been a lifesaver for me as a new mom, I have found support, fun, friendship and community in this group of gals.

Our meetings include childcare, (of course nursing and small babies are welcome to attend the meeting with mom) a delicious brunch and a craft, as well as a speaker in many interesting topics, examples are nutrition, vaccinations, building a healthy marriage, and various other topics relevant to mothers of young children. We have some special meetings, including an indulgence meeting with desserts, massages, acupuncture, make-up and hair styles, and lots of other treats for busy moms that always need a little pampering. We have some fun moms nights out, game nights, MOPS and POPS events for the family, and coming soon, our Mentor moms are hosting a dessert night for us. MOPS moms take care of each other, we are friendly, and welcoming. Come check it out! Meetings cost $8.00 a meeting and that include one child with an additional $1 each for additional children. Of course, on one is ever turned away from MOPS due to financial hardship and we are happy to wave the fee if you are unable to afford it. AND your first meeting is FREE!

Meeting are at Boulder Valley Christian Church 7100 S Boulder Rd, Boulder, We meet at 8:45- 11:30 every other Thursday. Come to our meeting THIS Thursday.
