Cottonwoods Farm now open

Cottonwood Farm Brings Fall Fun to Boulder

Even if the temperature makes you think summer is still here, a quick trip out to Cottonwood Farm reminds us that fall really is here.

Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Oct. 31, Cottonwood Farm located at 75th and Arapahoe, is a quick drive from most parts of Boulder. With free admission and a beautiful view of the front range, this makes a great outing for kids of all ages.

On a recent afternoon after school, we found bountiful pumpkins, beautiful fall displays ready for the perfect fall picture, farm animals up close, a fun straw bale maze, and we even made it through a corn maze for the first time - we usually have to cheat to get out. Don't forget to get the little red wagon to pull your pumpkins along.

Cottonwood Farm offers more than that, on weekends they offer wagon rides for $3 and seeing working steam engines. From pumpkins to winter squash, all of Cottonwood Farm's produce is organic. Along with produce, they sell corn stalk bundles, decorating gourds, ornamental multi-colored corn, and hay bales.
